Do you accept candidates who are looking for low cost, cheap housing?

No, we do not. Our trained staff and our facility are more affordable than the big institutions but are not cheap.

 

How do I know if a bed is available?

We always post the availability of vacant beds on the site Here, if no one is on the waiting list. Any candidates on the waiting list are contacted first and have the first priority. Presently, 8 Vacancies are available. Please Contact US.

 

Do you accept Pets?

No. Pets including but not limited to Dogs, Cats, Reptiles, Fish, Birds and Insects are not allowed at this facility for the well-being and the health of the residents.

 

Are guns allowed in this facility?

No arms including but not limited to Guns, Rifles (automatic or semi-automatic), Pistols, Knives, Swords, Ammunitions or any other kind of arms that would cause any threat to any person or property is allowed on this facility at any time or for any reason. The exception is when the arms are always kept in a closed container according to local ordinances.

Can I bring my own alcoholic beverages?

No. This facility is strictly Alcohol/Illicit Drug Free. Hence, no alcoholic beverages and no illicit drugs are allowed on this facility.

 

Are meals included in the service fees?

Yes, in addition to nutritious snacks.

 

Is the admission fee refundable?

No. The one-time admission fee is non-refundable, whether the resident actually moves-in or not.

 

Is the waiting-list fee refundable?

Yes, only if you are accepted as the new resident. The waiting-list fee will be deducted from the accepted resident's first month service fee. To add your name on our waiting list, please click Here.

 

Do the residents have access to the security cameras in place?

No. The security cameras are monitored strictly by the Management to ensure the security of the facility as well as the residents'.

 

Does the guarantor have to pay the monthly service fees on behalf of the resident?

Yes. The guarantor must pay the monthly service fees as long as the resident or the resident's belongings occupy the room, whether the resident actually exists in the room or not.

 

How long does it take to process an application form?

Usually 1 to 3 business days depending on the submitted application form and the required documents whether they are complete or incomplete, after an in-person interview with the prospective resident and guarantor.

 

Do the residents have to sign anything before occupying the facility?

Yes. Upon approval each prospective resident and or guarantor are required to sign the resident agreement and agree to abide by the rules.

 

What happens if any resident breaks any of the rules?

The resident will be notified in writing and asked to remedy the situation. If the situation gets worse and the resident didn't correct his/her behavior, he/she could be permanently discharged from the facility, escorted to the door, be asked to surrender the keys, take his/her belongings and leave. Any paid service fees are non-refundable.

 

If a resident refuses to leave due to breaking the rules, what happens next?

The resident will be considered trespassing. The law enforcement will be called to remove him/her which would affect his/her criminal record.

 

Do you offer any medical services at your property?

No. We do not offer any services ourselves, since we are not licensed to do so. However, we outsource those services to third party companies that are licensed to do so and we allow daily nurse visitations if they are needed. Do you administer any medications to the residents?

       No. It's the responsibility of the resident to self-administer the prescribed medication. We can only supervise and log the self-           administered medication. We shall never be liable for any medication given to the residents as well as any consequences. 

 

Should the residents expect to have an available nurse or caregiver 24/7 on the facility, in case of an emergency? 

No. The caregivers are available everyday including the weekends from 7:00AM to 7:00PM on the facility to help the residents with their daily life activities. In case of an emergency, please call 911, especially when the caregivers are off shifts. 

 

Does this facility conduct a monthly fire drill with the residents and caregivers? 

       Yes. Every month, there will be a fire drill, while the residents and the caregivers are present, as per the state regulations.

 

How do you accept payments for the admission and service fees?

We accept both physical certified checks and electronic payments through your bank accounts, credit or debit cards.

 

Are there any fees associated with credit/debit card payments?

Yes. Financial institutions will charge the residents an additional fee for using their credit/debit card or debit their bank accounts and residents agree to pay them. 

 

 Are the residents allowed to cook themselves?

No. Due to strict state regulations, only the caregivers are allowed to be in the kitchen, cook and serve the residents. Furthermore, nutritious menus will be available for the state inspector at all times.

 

How do I fill out an application form?

Use the "Contact Us" page to send us a message with your request to receive an application form. We will send you the link and the password to view and electronically proceed with your application form. You will also be able to upload your documents online to complete your application.

 

Do you charge by the bedroom or by the bed?

Our prices are by the bed. If a resident occupies a bedroom that has two beds, and refuses to accept any roommate, then he/she will be charged double the price of a single bed.

 

Where are the bedrooms located on this facility? Are they all on the same level and easily accessible to the disabled elderly? 

There are four bedrooms on the second level with two full bathrooms and another two bedrooms with another full bathroom in the basement. The main level has a half-bathroom. All three levels are connected with stairlifts for the disabled elderly residents. 

 

Are there any entertainment games and or library for the residents?

Yes. There are entertainment games that are available to the residents, for no extra-charges, in the basement. Furthermore, there is a library located in the upper loft for the residents who love reading. 

 

Are there any fitness equipment available to the residents on this facility?

Yes. The fitness equipment for the residents exists in the basement for no extra-charges.

 

Can I invite my friend or relative to sleep over?

You can have visitors whether friends or relatives as long as nobody sleeps over. Only registered legal residents who have signed a resident agreement with us are permitted to sleep over at the facility. If your friend or relative wishes to occupy a bed, please "Contact Us".

 

Do the monthly service fees include any medical services and/or transportation?

No. Any medical services and/or transportation that are required and needed by any residents are the responsibilities of the residents. We can just refer the residents to third party companies that offer the medical services and/or transportation. Is smoking permitted on this facility?

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the facility at any time and for any reason. Smoking is allowed only outside the facility. Smoking of weeds and federally illegal drugs are strictly prohibited too.

 

Are open fire and campfire allowed on this facility?

Any open fire is not allowed on this facility including BBQ, campfire or any other fire or charcoal or incense etc...

 

Do you offer any WiFi? If yes, how much does it cost?

We offer our valued residents Free Wifi provided they sign a Wifi form consenting and agreeing to be legally responsible for any copyright infringements and to not share it with anybody else using computers, laptops, cellular telephones, tablets or any other electronic devices.
